Bio is in our nature

We cultivate the Lohauserhof as a family business in the fourth generation. We are Georg and Marianne Mayr and our children Lisa-Marie, Michael and Sophia. Formerly used as a purely agricultural business, since the reconstruction in 2012 we are receiving our guests in comfortable rooms for overnight stays in the Dachau hinterland.

Feels like home

The well-being of our guests is very important to us. At Lohauserhof you should feel “like home”. Whether an individual packed lunch or a personal shuttle service to the airport or to the S-Bahn station: We are happy to cater to individual desires. This also includes the fact that we offer bike rental. At the same time, you do not compromise on comfort in our tastefully furnished hotel rooms.

Our greatest compliment: When our guests can come to rest and relax after a hard day - just like at home. Everyone has individual needs that we respect. Perhaps you would like to have a cool drink on our lovingly furnished terrace in summer? Our winter garden is available for cooler temperatures.

Regional and organic

For us, health and nature are valuable assets that we handle with care. That is why we offer regional products in organic quality for a rich breakfast buffet. The eggs come from our chickens, the fruit from our own garden and the sausage from the neighboring butcher's shop. Particularly delicious: the homemade jam in seasonal flavors.

Energy-saving and sustainable

In addition to the regional aspect, the environmentally friendly and sustainable way of life is another cornerstone of our philosophy. That is why we preferred an energy-saving construction method for the renovation.

In addition to energy-saving exterior walls and solar windows, a photovoltaic system with heating support was also installed in the Lohauserhof. This is used for hot water supply - and covers the entire electricity consumption. In addition, we feed green electricity into the general power grid.

We only use cleaning agents without chemicals to clean the rooms and make our small contribution to a sustainable lifestyle - in harmony with nature.
